1. The service which BoomerBack Ltd provides is a returns service whereby we arrange for the return of lost items which carry a numbered BoomerBack label (or a similar attachment provided by BoomerBack) and which have been found.
 

2. The service is provided to the label owner who must register relevant contact information on the website prior to the start of the service period and must then activate the service against each label when it is received and affixed to the item to be protected.
 

3. Owner contact information and item information must be kept up to date by the label owner. This may be done at any time, including at the time a loss is reported.
 

4. The recovery service is initiated once a finder has contacted BoomerBack by phone or via the website / email at www.boomerback.co.uk.
 

5. Items to be returned must have a valid BoomerBack numbered label. A label may be moved between items.
 

6. The service is aimed at small electronic items such as mobile phones, personal organisers, and laptop computers, and small non-electronic items such as sets of keys. Service will not be provided for items which are larger or heavier than a typical laptop computer, or which require special handling.
 

7. The service for each label is provided for a fixed period following activation. Unless otherwise specified, that period is one year. The service may be renewed for further periods.
 

8. Following three losses and recoveries in a year for a single numbered label, the service will no longer be available for that label, the service period being deemed to have expired.
 

9. On request from either the finder or the label owner, BoomerBack Ltd will preserve the privacy of both parties, acting as a go-between in providing the service.
 

10. BoomerBack Ltd will arrange the return of the item using its choice of delivery method. Where the label owner desires a different delivery method (for example a faster service) the label owner may request this, reimbursing BoomerBack Ltd for the full cost of the delivery.
 

11. The full recovery service is not available if the service period for an item has expired and it has not been renewed so as to ensure a continuous period of cover. In the event of an item with expired service being found, BoomerBack Ltd will offer the label owner the option of EITHER (a) contacting the finder themselves (provided the finder is willing for this to happen) and arranging return of the item, OR (b) BoomerBack arranging the recovery of the item for a fixed fee payable in advance.
 

12. The service is only provided within the United Kingdom although assistance will be given where possible in establishing contact between finder and label owner.
 

13. BoomerBack Ltd will take reasonable precautions to ensure that a returned item is suitably packaged for delivery. However it will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whilst the item is in transit.
 

14. BoomerBack Ltd will provide a gift pack of labels to a finder as a reward after an item is successfully returned to the label owner. The label owner may offer an additional reward to a finder. BoomerBack Ltd will offer its services in conveying this additional reward from label owner to finder.
 

15. BoomerBack Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
